Pam Lester, owner of the Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Sun City, has 35 years in the cosmetics business.
Hailing from Lubbock, Texas, she and her husband originally came to the Valley to visit her husband’s parents, who had moved here due to a corporate transfer. Visiting often, they decided to move to Arizona, and have now been here since 1972.
Her mother-in-law had bought a Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio franchise. When she decided to retire, Pam bought it and became the owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio, in Sun City, at The Promenade.
Since then Pam has expanded her franchise with the 86 year old, privately held Merle Norman Cosmetics, which develops, manufactures and distributes its own full line of hundreds of innovative skin care and cosmetic products that are available exclusively at independently-owned Studios, opening a second Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Glendale, near Arrowhead Mall.
