Jeff Chandler, owner of Chelsee’s AC & Brake Emporeum, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1964. With a father in the automotive industry, he was in the 5th Grade when his parents moved to Phoenix for health reasons.
Jeff spent several years in the music industry promoting rock & roll bands on the west coast, and “had a lot of fun” staging concerts in parks, inviting the entire city. But his love for working on cars beckoned. “Rock & roll and cars have always gone together.”
He also spent time in theater work, performing in drama and musicals – at one point playing Doody in Grease.
What finally convinced him to “make the move” back to auto work was his girlfriend’s pregnancy. He had to “get a real job and feed them”, in a field where he had a solid background to provide for the family.
Altogether, Jeff Chandler has spent 40 year in auto work. ASE Certified, he understands profit and loss, and is also capable of running a business.
Chelsee’s AC & Brake Emporeum is a “one stop shop”, though they do specialize somewhat on AC & brakes, their “specialties” include “drivability” and emissions; fabrications; stereos; alarms; tires and wheels.
Jeff named Chelsee’s AC & Brake Emporeum after his long-loved dog, Chelsee, an Alaskan Malmute/Chow mix he had for 15 yearsthat spent most of those years right by his side. Chelsee’s gone, but his new dog, a Golden Retriever named Purple, is always nearby.
